Pastor Bryan takes a look at how God's good creation suffered great tragedy. It started with Satan in disguise who deceived Eve into doubting God by sowing confusion, contradiction, and corruption. Let's reflect on God's inquiries to Adam and Eve-- Where are you? Who told you that? -- and take inventory on our walk with Him and who we've been listening to. Maybe we'll find that we need to recommit and say to God, "Lord, I need You!"

This week, Pastor Roger opens our new series on Genesis. Part 1 of this 4-part series is called "Beginnings." We see in the message the foundation beginning to form for the rest of Genesis, and indeed the entire bible. It all starts with "In the beginning God..." (Gen 1:1). Let's dig into the implications of that together as we hear this sermon.

As we close this series, Pastor Loïs discusses the foundation of celebration- joy! We were created to experience and reflect the joy of the Lord. Regardless of the things we go through, "if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things" (Phil. 4:8). This is the great remedy for anxiety we so easily fall into. Take heart and put the spiritual discipline of celebration into practice as you remember, delight in God, and observe "the gathering of the saints and communion."
